This study investigates the evolving language of AI-enhanced composing, maps the discipline’s intellectual influence, and identifies key evidence-based strategies and ethical issues. The research used bibliometrics, specifically Price’s Law, Bradford’s Law, and Lotka’s Law, to perform a statistical analysis of publication production and author productivity. Following the PRISMA methodology, 2129 documents were retrieved from the Scopus database (2023-2026) using Boolean search strategies and processed with VOSviewer for science maps and citation burst detection to support descriptive citation analysis. The results indicate a dramatic increase in publications culminating in 2025 and provide evidence of an evolving perspective on AI as a writing collaborator rather than merely a tool. Key themes identified in the investigation include human-AI collaborative writing, ethical issues, and academic integrity. Findings from this research can inform institutional policy and pedagogy related to AI literacy and provide a clear basis for the need for transparent authorship to maintain academic integrity. The study provides a bibliometric assessment of the cognitive and ethical impact of AI-based composition from a multidisciplinary perspective, resulting in a navigational framework.
