Abstract

Environmental education plays a crucial role in shaping environmentally aware and responsible citizens, particularly in countries like China. This paper examines the integration of environmental education into the Chinese curriculum, exploring opportunities, challenges, and best practices. The analysis highlights successful models of integration, innovative teaching strategies, and pedagogical approaches used in Chinese schools. Despite obstacles such as curriculum overload and limited resources, schools have embraced interdisciplinary learning, community engagement, and technology integration to foster environmental literacy.
